This program builds relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to help link them into support services and raise their awareness about Autism. My Future My Life
My Future My Life supports Queensland secondary students living with disability in non NDIS areas to prepare for life after school. Different types of supports are available: Workshops, Transition Preparation Support and Financial assistance. My Life gives Queensland secondary school students with a disability an opportunity to pursue a meaningful and productive life based on their strengths, capacity and dreams. Better Start For Young Children With Disability
Better Start provides access to funding for early intervention services. Children may be eligible for Better Start if diagnosed with one of the following disabilities: Angelman Syndrome; Blindness; Cerebral Palsy; CHARGE; Cornelia de Lange; Cri du Chat; Deafblindness; Deafness; Down Syndrome, including Mosaic Down Syndrome; Fragile X Syndrome; Hearing Impairment; Kabuki Syndrome; Microcephaly; Prader Willi Syndrome; Rett Syndrome; Smith-Magenis; Vision Impairment; Williams Syndrome. To access Better Start, children with an eligible diagnosis must register before they turn 6 years old. Families will have until their child turns 7 to access funding. For more information CLICK HERE

This service offers support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people attending Brisbane hospitals for clinical care. This support is in the form of homely accommodation in Hamilton, Brisbane, health meals, transport and escort services and also support at the airport terminal if required.
