It is important to prepare for your planning meeting before you go. This will help you have a head start on thinking about what supports you currently have and what additional support you may need.
Planning Tips:
Complete a NDIS readiness booklet to start to gather the information you will need to guide your planning discussions. (A few options are attached below)
Always keep copies of documents that you give to or send to the NDIS
Have a support person with you and your loved one in planning sessions
Remember this is about you or your loved one you are the expert in what will work
Ensure you get the name of your planner’s and their email address at your planning meeting so you can send any additional documents or information needed later.
