Managing your plan and employing service providers
The NDIS sees a change in the way disability supports or offered to clients. Previously the money was given to providers who then gave out services to those who needed it. Now under the NDIS individuals are assessed as to how much funding they need as an individual and they have the choice to control who they employ as their service provider. Individuals can choose how much they want to participate in managing their own NDIS funding package as some people will want to self-manage and others will want the assistance package manager.

The price guide for service and supports under the NDIS in Queensland are set by the NDIS. There are different prices for those living in remote or very remote locations.
