NDIS Preparation and Planning
It is important to prepare for your planning meeting before you go. This will help you have a head start on thinking about what supports you currently have and your goals and dreams for your life.
Planning Tips:
- Complete a NDIS readiness booklet to start to gather the information you will need to guide your planning discussions. (A few options are attached below)
- Spend some time preparing the documents that you will need.
- Always keep copies of documents that you give to or send to the NDIS
- Have a support person with you and your loved one in planning sessions
- Remember this is about you or your loved one you are the expert in what will work
- Ensure you get the name of your planner’s and their email address at your planning meeting so you can send any additional documents or information needed later.
